Pre-Test Assessments
A pre-driving test assessment is like a warm up prior to taking the actual driving test itself. Blake will guide you through all aspects of the driving test, identifying any issues that require attention and explain how the test grading system works. Blake will highlight any areas where you must improve your driving skills in order to pass the driving test.
A pre-test assessment can be taken as a mock driving test as if it were the RSA driving test where Blake will use the official marking system and give you detailed feedback on your performance.
If required Blake’s car hire package provides a fully insured, taxed with valid NCT, dual controlled car subject to some terms & conditions. This is available for those who have reached the test standard and requires a one hour assessment prior to the car hire being granted.
Pre-test checks you should be aware of for your driving test include the following –
Your car should be in a road worthy condition
Ensure all appropriate discs such as Tax, Insurance & NCT are up to date and correctly displayed
Read & learn the rules of the road. The test includes an oral exam on the rules of the road
Ensure your car is in roadworthy condtion
Learn under the bonnet checks e.g. checking oil level, where the windscreen wash is located, etc.
Learn your car's secondary controls such as wipers, demisters
